Supported Accommodation

Our Rock Limited is a semi-independent living accommodation provider offering solo placements, shared living, and supported 24-hour accommodation units for young people who require guidance and assistance through a person-centred approach.

At Our Rock Care Place, our mission is to empower and inspire young individuals aged 16+ by providing exceptional accommodation and support services. Our dedication lies in creating safe, nurturing environments that promote personal growth, resilience, and independence. Our commitment extends beyond meeting basic needs — we support holistic development through educational, vocational, and life skills programs. Through our unwavering commitment to excellence, we strive to guide young people to recognise their strengths, unlock their potential, and build a foundation for a brighter future.

We understand the problems faced by many young people — emotional, behavioural, and social — and work with them to help turn their lives around.

Overall, what we want to achieve (our strategic priorities) are:

  • Quality of practice – providing a good service to children.

  • Customer voice – listening and responding to what the young people say.

  • Financial sustainability – using our money wisely to provide outstanding services.

  • Keep improving the quality of our work, to attain an outstanding status.

  • To be the provider of choice for local authorities.

  • To evidence the outcomes, we achieve for the young people in our supported accommodation.

* To provide a warm and nurturing home environment that promotes empowerment, independence, and choices whilst enhancing young people’s daily living skills and enabling them to become independent. We aim to build their confidence as they develop into adulthood for them to make appropriate life choices and decisions. We believe it is essential that young people are made to feel included and valued in sociality whilst also participating as fully functioning members of their local community. We believe that each young person is unique and tailor their support appropriately. We aim to provide an environment that encourages them to be bold and forward-thinking, giving due regard to their identity, ethnicity, religious beliefs, ability or disability and cultural background.
